Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ellosim.com and the eSIM data plans sold on it. By placing an order you agree to these Terms. The contracting party under these Terms is EMAM MEDIA LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11855473), with registered office at 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU, trading as "ElloSim". References to "ElloSim", "we", "us" and "our" in these Terms mean EMAM MEDIA LTD.

1. Who we are

ElloSim is the trading name of EMAM MEDIA LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (No. 11855473), 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU. We are a reseller of mobile data connectivity from upstream eSIM providers and local mobile network operators. We do not operate our own mobile network.

2. The service

We sell prepaid travel eSIM data plans. After purchase, we email you an installation QR code (or a one-tap install link on supported devices). Each plan has a stated data allowance and validity period.

3. Eligibility and device compatibility

Your device must be eSIM-capable and carrier-unlocked. It is your responsibility to confirm compatibility before purchase using our Compatible devices list. eSIMs cannot be reissued because of an incompatible or locked device after installation has been attempted.

4. Activation and validity

Each eSIM is delivered ready to install. The plan's validity period (the number of days listed on the product page) begins on the first successful connection to a mobile network in the supported destination, as reported by our upstream provider. Installation, download of the eSIM profile, and the time the eSIM is left dormant before first use do not consume the validity period. Unused eSIMs remain installable for approximately 180 days from issuance; after that the profile may be withdrawn by the carrier. Once the validity period begins it runs continuously until it expires or the included data allowance is exhausted, whichever comes first. Unused data does not roll over. A small number of legacy or fixed-window plans (clearly labelled "Activates at installation" on the plan page) start their countdown at install instead; this exception is shown on the plan page and your order confirmation when it applies.

5. Pricing, taxes and currency

Prices may be displayed in your selected currency for convenience, but all charges are processed in US Dollars (USD). Any non-USD price shown on the site is an approximate conversion using daily exchange rates and may differ slightly from the final USD amount you are charged. Your bank or card issuer may apply its own conversion rate and foreign-transaction fees. Where applicable taxes apply, they will be shown before payment.

6. Refunds

Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund policy. In short: eSIMs that have not been installed or activated may be refunded within 30 days; once installed or activated they are non-refundable because the data has been provisioned.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service for spam, fraud, illegal activity, abuse of upstream networks, or to circumvent the terms of any mobile network operator. We may suspend or terminate service for any such use without refund.

8. Coverage, speeds and availability

Coverage, network technology (3G/4G/5G), throttling thresholds and roaming partners are set by the upstream operators. We make reasonable efforts to keep the information shown on each plan accurate, but we cannot guarantee a particular speed, latency or signal level in any specific location.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the affected order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including missed flights, roaming charges on a non-ElloSim SIM, or business losses.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in this clause limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have in your country of residence.
